BIBLE HOI."SK, ASTOR PLACE, N. Y.—In the early part of February, 1£6:", I was suffering from a violent cough, for which I had been trnatod during six months previously without beuefit, I had Night Sweats which completely prostrated me.— In the evening, hoarseness would corao on, which would prevent mo from speaking above a ,vhisper. I had then had two atlaeks of bleeding from tho Lungs. My family Physician assured me that he I'ould do no more for me. I was growing rapidly worse, and had been compelled tc leave business for nearly two months. All my symptoms indicated, unmistakably, tbo presence of CoXsriiPTioN. In the beginning of February, Mr. Ilenry Fisher, Treasurer of tho American Bible Society, presented mo with a bottle of tho PREPARED PRESCRIPT TON. In a few days, my appetite, (which I had entirely lost,) returned within a week, my cough had almost left me and in less than two week?, the Night Sweats were broken up. Thenceforward I regained my strength rapidly, and am now regularly attending to my dutjes as clerk to tho Amorioan Bible Society, in whoso employment I havo been nine years. I am now enjoying good health. Your PRESCRIPTION effected a curc, when my friends despaired of mv recovery. Trios. J. CONOKT. "I have had Nervous or Spasmodic Aslhuta for eleven years. "The night before I obtained the 'PREPARED PRESCRIPTION' was the worst I overpassed. On obtaining the remedy, I took a teaspoonfu! at noon and again at night and have not had a broken night's rest since. Mr. M. L. My physician —one of tho best in thi3 part of the country—exhausted all his skill aad the Materia Medica to"' expel tho worms, and entirely failed to bring any. I thought "John Bull" could do it, and gave tha child tho contents of three boxes, in triple doses, night and morning, with happy results. Dr. Bull:—Dear
Sir: My husband, Dr. C. 8.
Johnson, was a skillful surgeon andphysicion in Central 2Pew Zork, where he died, leaving th» above C. P. Johnson to my cara. At thirteen years of ago ho had the chronie diarrhea aud scrofula, for which I gave him your Sarsaparilla. IT CURED niu. I have fot teii years recommended it to many ih New York, Ohio, niid Iowa, for scrofula, fever sore?, and general debility. Perfect success has attended it.
The cures effected in
some eaxts of scrofula and fever sores were almost miraculous.
I am very anxious for my son to
again have recourse to your Sarsaparilla. Ho is fearful of getting a spurious articlo, hence his writing to you for it. His wounds were torribl9, but I beliovo he will recover..
Respectfully, JENNIE JOHNSON

cure of Aguo and Fever, or
Chills and Fever, whether of short or long standing. He refers to the entire Western and Southwestern country to boar him testimony to the truth of the assertion, that in no caso whatever will itfail to cure, if tho directions aro strictly followed and carried out. In a great many cases a single doso has been sufficient for a cure, and whole families have been cured by a siBgle bottle, with iw perfect restoration of the general health. It ia, however, prudent, and in every caso more cortain to cure, if its uso is continued in smaller doses for a week or two after the disease has been checked, more especially in difficult and long standing cases. Usually, this medicine will not rcquiro any aid to keep tho bowels in good order should the patient, however, roquire a cathartic medicine, after having taken three or four doses of tho Tonic, a single dose of BULL'S
