By the late law Equalizing Bounties, nn ADDITIONAL BOUNTY of $100 is grantjtfl to riich ami every soldier enlisted for THRKK YKADS, and serving out liia time, who has roccived, ir i.s ent.itied to reecive, no more than the $100 bounty heretofore allowed by law and auy such noldier dischurgcd on account of wounds received in line of duty, even if he has not served out his term of enlistment, is entitled to the additional bounty of $100.
An additional bounty of $50 is now allowed to each and every soldier enlisted for TWO YKARS, who has rocoivcd, oris entitled to receive, no more than $50 bounty under previous laws. A bounty of $50 is also allowed to cach and every soldier enlisted for nily period than two years, who has been honorably discharged on account of WOUNDS received in the line of duty. vSU

If a soldier, enlisted for three years, as'above stated, has died of WOUNDS received, or MSI&SI contracted in tho lino of duty, the additional bounty of 3100 is allowed to tho Widow, Minor Children, or Parent* of such deceased soldier in the order named. If a soldier, enlisted for any less period than three years, has died of Wounds received, or Disease contracted in the lino of duty, tho additional bounty of $50 is allowed to tho Widow, Minor Children, or Parents of such decoasod soldier in the order named.
To Officers:
All officers below the rank of Brigndicr-Goneral, who were in the service as such on tho 3d day of March, 1865, and who wero honorably discharged, or who havo resigned, sinco April t'th, 18G5, are now entitled by law to three months pay proper.
To Pensioners:
Widows are now entitled by law to nn INCREASE OF TIIEIR PENSION $2 per month for eneh ohild under cixteon years of ago. Invalid soldiers, for total disability, arc entitled to a pension of from $8 to $15, $20 and $25 per month.
To obtain the benefits of those laws, persons aro required in nil cases to make a new application. Applicants for the additional bounty must bring their discharge papers with them, and they will get a receipt for tho samo.
Having for a number of years past devoted myself especially to tho business of collecting claims, I feel.warranted in saying that I can insure not only prompt attention on the part of the Government, bvt an fcrly and sritinjactory acttlemcnt of all just claims intrusted to my care.
