The Meeting Tuesday. Tuesday last, the day appointed for Hon. Sam. Galloway and Dr. Adams to address our people, opened with prospects of rain and storm, but nevertheless man}T came to the meeting. The morning trains came without Mr. Galloway, tho word soon went around that he would not bo hero, and hundreds wept homo beforo noon supposing there \\fould be no speaking, it not being generally understood that Dr. Adams was present. By the late law Equalizing Bounties, an ADDITIONAL BOUNTY of SI00 is granted to each and every soldier enlisted for tiiiskk ykars, and serving out his time, who has received, or is entitled to receive, no moro than the ?100 bounty heretofore allowed by law and any such soldier discharged on account of wounds received in line of duty, even if he has not served out his term of enlistment, is entitled to the additional bounty of $100.
An additional bouiAtof $50 is now allowed to each and every soldier enlisted for-two ykars, who has received, or identified to receive, no moro than $50 bounty under previous laws. A bounty of §51) is "also allowed to each and every soldier enlisted for any less period than two years, who has been honorably discharged on account of wounds received in the lino of duty.
