In addition to what wo took occasion to Fay, wo weeks since, on the subject of Life Insurauce, we wish to urge upon applicants, tho importance of looking into the soundness of such institutions. If man orders the issue of a policy of insurance on his life, he, as a matter of course, desires it to bo with and by a company 'which is sound Leyond question. From an examination of the annual report of tho ''Jlu'ttal Life Insurance," of New Y'tI-J for which -Mr. I. X. Van Sickle is local sgent, we find her just such an organization as referred to, and as will meet the uem.'tn of the •people. Net cash assets of this company on the U1 Kt day of January, 1-SGFI, was $15,009,000—stirplus capital aft"r providing for every liability, $1,600,Gl(). Number of policies issued during the four months juM past is 4,633—average amount of ?:ieh policy, H,76U. When such protection is de'•ired. you should therefore, call on Mr. V., at the First National Rank.
