Cancers Cured or Wo Pay.

DR. SWANK will visit the Taylor House, this city on the 9th and 10th of every month during the year, and attend to the treatment of the various kinds of chronic diseases, and especially cancers, in the successful treatment of which he is srarccly excelled by any Physician in the West,—he I cures them or charges nothing for his services.—

The Doctor has cured some very hard cases here— he gives universal satisfaction to his patients. When the Doctor was stopping here, four years ago, he cured William Buchanan's wife, of Darlington, of a cancer on her neck Jones Rountrec, of Alamo, of one on the nose and Geo. Fruits' wife, of Alamo, of one on the nose: some of which wore pretty bad and of ten years standing, and which, are still perfectly sound.

He is a regular graduate of one of the best Reform Medical Colleges in the United States, and stands high as a Physician in his profession lie bus also and experience of some twenty years in praeticc, but his reputation is too well known to need any recommendation.

Tho Doctor discards all poisons, making use only of innocent and effectual remedies, selecting and preparing his medicines himself. They are pleasant to take, not sickening nor debilitating, but bracing: and consequently patients are not deprived of doing moderate labor, as lie requires a sufficient amount of exercise to promote health. lie deals honestly with patients if he thinks he cannot benefit them he will tell them, as it is no Physician's interest to deceive his patients lie carrics a full supply of medicine, and eharges low for his proscriptions.

See his Circulars, which contain thirty-five or forty good certificates of eases of Cituccr he has cured. He has more than a hundred Cancers, preserved in spirits which he took out.

Co. Gents: 1 feel it my duty to SO

knowledgo what your Sr.mparilla has done for me Having inherited a Scrofulous infection. I bave suffered from it in various ways for years. Sometimes it burst out in llicers on my hands and arms sometimes it turned inwurd and distressed me at the stomach. Two years ago it broke out on my head and covered my scalp and ears with one sore, which was painful and loathsome beyond description. I tried many medicines anil several physicians, but without much relief from any thing. Ia fact, tlie disorder grew worse. At length I was rejoiced to read ia the Gospel Messenger that you had prepared an alterative (Sarsaparilla for I knew from your reputation that any thing you mado must bo good. I sent to Cincinnati and got it, and used it till it cured me. I took it, as you advise, in small doses of a teaspoonful over a month, and used almost three bottles. New and bealtby skin soon began to form under tho scab, which after a while fell off. My skin is now clear, and I know by my feelings that tho disease bos gono from my system. You can well believe that I feel what I am saying when I toll you, that I hold you to be one of the apostles of the ago, and remain ever gratefully. Yours.

St. Anthony's Fire. Rose or Erysipelas* Tetter and Salt Rlieum, Scald Head, llingworm, Sore Eyes, Dropsy*

Dr. Tiobert M. Preble writes from Salem, N. Y., 12th Sept., 1359, that he has cured an inveterate case of Dropsy, which threatened to terminate fatally, by tbq persevering use of our Sarsaparilla, and also a dangerous Malignant Erysipe.lat by large doses of the same sa^i he cures tho common Eruptions by it constantly.

Bronchocele, Goitre or Swelled Neck* Zebiilon Sloan of Prospect, Texas, writes: "Three bottles of your Sarsaparilla cured me from a O'nilre—a hideous swelling on the neck, which I had Buffered from OTer two years." lieucorrheea or Whites, Ovarian Tumor,

Uterine Ulceration, Female Diseases* Dr. ,T. R. S. Channing, of New York City, writes "I most cheerfully comply with tho request of your agent in saying I have found your Sarsaparilla a most excellent nltsra'tivo in the numerous complaints for which w» employ such a remedy, but especially in FkmaU Diseases of the Scrofulous dlaihefis. have cured many inveterate cases of Leucorrlicea by it, and some where the complaint wns c.insed by ulceration of the uterus. The ulceration itself was soon cured. Nothing within my knowledpo equals it for thesn female derangements."

Edward S. Marrow, of Newbury, -Ma., writes, "A dangerous ovarian tumor on one of the females in my family, which had defied all the remedies wo could employ, has at length been completely cured by your Extract of Sarsaparilla. Our physician thought nothing but extirpation could afford relief, but he advised the trial of your Sarsaparilla as the last rpsort before cutting, and It proved effectual. After taking your remedy eight weeks no symptom of the disease remains."

Syphilis and Mercurial Disease* NEW ORLEANS. 26th August, J8B9. DR. J. C. ATER: Sir, I cheerfully comply with the r8-

?uest

of your agent, and renort to you some of the eftects have realized with your Sarsaparilla. I have cured with it, in my practice, most of the complaints for which it is recommended, and have found its effects truly wonderful in the cure of Venereal and Mercurial Dsrn?e. One of my patients had Syphilitic ulcers In his throat, which were consuming hlB palate and the top of his mouth. Your Sarsaparilla, steadily taken, cured hiui in lire weeks. Another vas attacked by secondary symptoms in his nose, and the ulceration bad eaten away considerable part of it, so that I believe tho disorder wuuld soon reach his brain and kill him. Hut it yielded to my administration of your Sarsaparilla the ulcers healed, and lie is well again, not of course without some disfiguration to his face. A wcnian who had been tieate'l for tho eamc disorder by mercury was suffering froxu this poisou in her bones. They had become so sensitive to the weather that on a damp day she suffered excruciating pain in her joints and bones. She, too, was cured entirely by your ^rsaparilla in a few weeks. I know from its formula, which your agent gave me, that this Preparation from your laboratory must be a great remedy consequently, these truly remarkable results with it have not surprised me. fraternally yours, G. V. LARIMER, M. D. Rheumatism, Gout, Liver Complaint*

INDEPENDENCE. Preston Co., Va.. Cth July. 1859. DR. J. C. AVF.R: Sir, 1 havo been afllicted wiih a painful chronic Jiheumatism for along time, which bathed tho skill of physicians, and stuck to me iti spite of all tho remedies 1 could find, until 1 tried your Sarsaparilla. Ono bottle cured me in two weeks, and restored my general health so much that I am far better than before I was attacked. I think it wonderful medicine. J. KKJ2AM.

Jules Y. Getchell, of St. Louis, writes: "I have been oniicted for years with an affection nf the Liver, -which destroyed my health. I tried evory thing, and every thing failed to relieve mc and 1 have been a broken-down maa" for some years from no other cause than derangement nf the Liver. My beloved pastor, tiie liev. Mr. Espy, advised me to try your Sarsaparilla, barn use he said he knew you, and any thine you made was worth trying. Ily the blessing of God it has cured me, aud has so purified my blood ns to mnke a new man of me. feel voung Again. Tho best that can be 6aid of you is not half good enough." Scliirrus,Cancer Tumors, Enlargement,

Ulceration, Caries aud Exfoliation ox tlie lloncs. A great variety of eases have been reported to ns where cures of tlieso formidable) complaints have resulted from the use of this remedy, but our space here will not admit them. Some of them maybe lbiind in our American' Almanac, which the agents bolow named are pleased to furnish gratis to all who call for them. Dyspepsia, Heart Disease, Fits, Epilep* ay, Melancholy, .Neuralgia-

Many remarkable cures of these affections have been made by tho alterative power of this medicine. It stimulates flie vital functions into vigorous action, and thus overcomes disorders which would be supposed beyond ita reach. Such a remedy has long been required by the necessities of the people, and we are confident that this will do for them all that medicine can do.
