It is now well under-? stood that our Letter A Machine is the only Family Machine yet offered to tho public which has simplicity, rapidity, durability, and certainty of correct action. While as a general thing, the sewing-ma-chine people are candid enough to acknowledge that ourfinachines arc unequalled for manufacturing purposes, they are almost sure to assert, in the same breath, that Singer's Letter A, or Family Machines, are not an good, astkeirsl This is a mero trick of the trade, and we confidently invite those interested in the subject to examine for themselves and sec what our Letter A Family Machines, with all. the recent ira prove men t'sy^are capable of doing. While they trill sow" the most delicate material to perfection, as already stated, thoy aro also adapted to light manufacturing purposes,: and this, "be it remembered, cannot" be said of any of tho o.ther Family Machines yet offered to the public.

Shoe Making, Harness

Making, etc etc.U They-are of extra size, with an arm long enough to take under it and stitch the largest sized dashes. There is scarcely any part of a Trimmer's stitching that cannot be better done with them than by hand so, too, the saving of time and labor is very great. The table of these machines is 24 inches long, and the shuttle will hold six times as much thread, as the shuttle of those used for tailoring purposes. The large machin'os, work as fast as small ones.

We have always on hand, Hemming Gua.ges, Silk Twisty TvWienahd Cotton Thread on Spdols, best Machine Oil in Bottles, etc., etc. \Fc manufacture our 0vtn Needles, and would warn all persons using onr machines not to buy any: others. ^SSP'Wo have made the above REDUCTION IN PRICES,wilh the two-fold view of benefiting the public and ourselves. The public have been swindled by spurious machines made in imitation of ours. The metal in them, from the iron casting to the smallest piecc, is of poor quality. Tljeir.makers have not the means to dt»their work well.— They artf hid rfway in scc.rctptaccs, where it would he impossible to have at their command the proper mechanical appliances,- 11 is only by doing a great busines's, and haVing extensile '^^nufacturijig ostablishmcrits, that good machines can'be made at moderate prices. The best dosigncdmaeh|nes,

are always liable to get out Of order, and

are sure--to^ost considerable troublo^aud. money to keep them in repair. The qualities.to be looked, for in a achino, aro: ccrtaintv of correct ^fiction at'all rates of speed, simplicity of construction, great durability, and rapidity of operation, with the least labor.' Mach incs to combine these essential qualities, "must be made of the bent metal and finished to perfection. Ife have the ways and means, on a grand scale, to do this.

Tho purchasers of Machines, whoscidaily bread it may concern, will find that those having the above qualities not only work well dt'rapid'bs well as slow-rates of speed, but last long in the finest possible working order. Our machines, as made by us, will earn more money with less labor than any others, whether in imitation of ours or npt. In fact, they arc ohoaper than any other Machines as a gift ^&~Local-agents, wanted.
