The editor of tho Cincinnati Daily Times, of March 21, 1861, says: The Scandinavian Remedies appear to be growing in favor with the public, if wo may judge by the testimonials constantly received by the proprietor. A letter from Wisconsin, to be found in cur advertising column?, announces that among the I physicians of that locality it is becoming very popular, and what is very unusual, is being adopted by them in their practice, as a cure for many diseases which thf-y can not treat effectually in any other way. We understand that the immense trade carried on for several years in these medicines has, during the present year nearly doubled. Taylor House, Cravifordsvillc,

Where ho will remain for a limited period only,

His plan of treatment eanr.ct hut convince, where

properly understood, even the most incredulous and desponding invalid. Dr. S.Ts success for the last five years in curing Epilepsy, Chorea (St. Vitus' Dunce.) and nil nervous discuses, aise Female Complaints, ko., &e., should bo a sufficient inducement for the suffering to call at once and have advice and treatment. He charges you nothing for consultation nt his roonis.and will show you numbers of certl8?ates from persons who have been cured.

The great point in the treatraint of all human maladies is to get at the disease in a direct manner. The reason why Epilepsy and other nervous diseases have resisted all treatment, has been owing to a general want of knowledge of their pathology.

Having been earnestly engaged in the exclusive treatment of this class of diseases, I have made the discovery of the true principled curing them, and with this understanding I freely invite all the afflicted to come and be boa led.

AITER'S

Ague Cure,

fon TIIE SPfiEDY CURE OF

Intermittent Fever, or Fever and Ague, Remittent Fever, Cliill Fever, Dumb Ague, Periodical Headachc, or Bilious

Headache, and Bilious Fevers, indeed for the Avhole class of diseases originating in biliary derangement, causcd by the Malaria of miasmatic countries. No one remedy is louder called for by the necessities of the American people than a sure and safe cure for Fever and Ague. Such we are now enabled to offer, with a perfect certainty that it will eradicate the disease, and with assurance, founded on proof, that no harm can arise from its use in any quantity.

That which protects from or prevents this disorder must be of immense service in tho communities where it prevails. Prevention is better than cure, for the patient escapes the risk which he must run in violent attacks of S this baleful distemper. This '•CURE" expels the miasmatic poison of FEVER AND AGUE from the system and prevents the development of the disease, if taken on the first approach of its premonitory symptoms. It is not only the best remedy ever yet discovered for this class of complaints, but also tho cheapest. The large quantity we supply for a dollar brings it within the reach of every body and in bilious districts, where FEVER AND AOUE prevails, every body should have it and use it freely both for cure and protection. It is hoped this price will placo it within the reach of all—the poor as well as tho rich. A ij great superiority of this remedy oyer any other ever discovered for tho speedy and certain cure of Intcrmittents is, that it contains no Quinine or mineral, consequently it produces no quinism or other injurious .effects whatever upon the constitution. Those cured by it are left as healthy as if they had never had the disease.

Fever and Ague is not alone the consequence of the miasmatic poison. A great variety of disorders arise from its irritation, among Avhich are Neuralgia, Rheumatism, Gout, Headache, Blindness, Toothache, Earache, Catarrh, Asthma, Palpitation, Painful Affection of tho Spleen, Hysterics, Pain in the Bowels, Colic, Paralysis, and Derangement of the Stomach, all of which, when originating in this cause, put oil the intermittent typo, or become periodical. This CURE expels the poison from the blood, and consequently cures them all alike. It is an invaluable protection to immigrants and persons travelling or temporarily residing in the malarious districts. If taken occasionally or daily while exposed to the infection, that will be excreted from the system, and cannot accumulate in sufficient quantity to ripen into disease. Hence it is even more valuable for protection than cure, and few will ever suffer from Intcrmittents, if they avail themselves of the protection this remedy affords.
