They embody the pi n«:i]iles of the Manufacturing Machines, making, like them, the interlocked stitch, and arc dc-tincd to be as celebrated for FAMILY SEWING and light manufacturing purposes as our Manufacturing Machines ate for manutachiving purposes in general.
FAM T1A !--k l. MA( HINESrro valuable in pvo-oornon to the nt ti:i:er of things they can do ••veil. See.Y,'b:.t ours do before making a pur-i-e. 1 hero is no deubt aft to the vrlne of our Machines for ninnafcf.'iivmg purposes, but it is only of late that the public began to learn that tho essentia! elements oi a machine bc.-t adapted to the heaviest work, would also be the elements to be embodied in a Family Machine. It is now well understood that our Letter A Machine is the only Family Machine yet offered to the public which hass:' [)/i'-it1/, rtnii'Uti I'uraln/.'^/. run' rrrtnint•/ of correct coiion. V/hilo as a general tlrr.g, the sewing-ma-ehisie people are candid cnon xh to acknowledge that «.ui machines are unequaltud for manufacturing purpose.-, they are almost sure to assert, in the same breath, that Singer's Letter A, or Family Machines, ore nut a* /o'u( K» ih'-iri! This is a mete trick of the trade, and we coniidently invite those interested iu the subject to examine for themselves nnd s"e what our Let.ter A Family Machines, with all the recent improvements are capable of doing. While they will sew the niosi delicate material to perfection, its already stated, they are also adapted to iight manufacturing purposes, and this, be it remembered, cannot be said (if any of the other Family Machines yet offered in tlie public.
The Xos. 1 and 2 .Machines are of great, eapacitv and application for manufacturing purposes. Our No. Machines arc especially adapted to nil kinds of light and heavy Leather Work, in Cur riage Trimming, Bool and Shoe Making, JIanie--s Making, etc., etc. They are of extra size, with an arm long enough to take under ii and stitch the largest, sized dashes. There is scarcely-any pari of a Trimmer's stitching that cannot be better done with them than by band so, too, the saving of time and labor is very great. The table of these machines is 21 inches long, and the shuttle wiil hold six times as much thread as the shuttle of (hose used for tailoring purposes. The large machines work as fast as small ones.
We have always on hand, Hemming Otiages, Silk Twist, Linen and Cotton Thread 011 Spools, best Machine Oil in Bottles, etc.. etc.
We manufacture our own Needles, nnd would warn nil persons using our machines not to buy any others. AVc know that there are needles sold n/'the most ivfi rior ijintlih/. at higher prices than we ohaige for the best. The needles sold by us are manufactured especially for our machines. A bad needle may render the working of the best machine almost useless.
Our customers may rest assured that oil our Branch Offices are furnished with the "genuine article."
I11 case of small prrehascs, the money may be sent in postage stamps, or bank notes. ii..Corres]ioiidcnts will jdcase write their names distinctly. It is all important that we should, in each case, know tho Post Office, County nnd State. lyQ.r.AIl persons requiring information about Sowing Machines, their sizes, prices, working capacities, and the best methods of purchasing, can obtain it by sending to us, or any cf our Branch 0(fiees for a copy of "I. RS. Sirsgrcs' & C'o.-'s Gazette." "Which is a beautiful Pictorial Paper entirely devoted to the subject.— 1/ will be sent yrutin.
#ES*'Wc have made the above REDUCTION IN PRICES with the two-fold view of benefiting tlie public and ourselves. The public have been swindled by spurious machines made in imitation of ours. The metal in them, from the iron easting to the smallest piece, is of poor quality. Their makers have not the means to do their work well.— They arc hid away in secretplaces, where it would be impossible to have at their command the proper mechanical appliances. It is only by doing a great business, and having extensive manufacturing establishments, that good mac-hines can be made at moderate prices. The best designed machines, BADLY M.uir, are always liable to get out of order, and arc sure to cost, considerable trouble and money to keep them in repair.
The qualities to be looked for in a aclinic, are: certainty of correct action at all rates of speed, simplicity of construction, great durability, and rapidity of operation, with the least labor. Maeh inert to combine these essential qualities, must be made of th cirri inetol and finMted to ]crftetion. R'e have the ways and means, 011 a grand scale, to do this.
The purchasers of Machines, whoso daily bread it may concern, will find that those having the above qualities not only work well ntr«pi'(?as well as ilow rates of speed, but laxt lourj in the finest possible working order. Our machines, as made by its, will earn more money with hi* labor than any others, whether in imitation of ours or not. In fact, they arc cheaper than any other Machines as a gift Local agents wanted.

Fever and Ague,
from which mankind sofn-r ot*t l.-.Tge part of the globe, i* tho consequence of a discard action i'i the system, induced by the poisonous mi-is-rn cf vegetable decay. Thin cxh-ilution is evolved by tiis action of solar heat on wet soil, and rises with the watorr vapor from it.. While the Km is below the horizon this vapor lingers near ths earth's surface, and the virus is taken with it through tho lungs into the blood. There it acts an irritating poisbn on the internal viscera and excrcting organs of the body. The liver becor.tcs torpid and fails to secrete not only this virus, but also the bik- from the blood. Both the virus and the oile accumulate in the circulation, and produce violent constitutional disorder. The spleen, the kidneys, and the stomach sympathize with the liver, unci become disordered also. Finally, the instinct of our organism, as if in an attempt to expel ths noxious infusion, concentrates the whole blood 01 the body in the internal exeretories to force them to ca-l \x. out. The blood leaves the surface, and rushes to the central.organs with congestive violence. This is thoCrrn.r,. But in this effort it fails. Then the Fr.vi ::. follows, in which the blood leaves the centred organs and rushes to the surface, as if in another effort to expel the irritating poison through that other great excretory the skin. In this also it fails, and the system abandons the attempt exhausted, and waits for the recovery of strength, to repeat the hopeless effort another day. These1.: arc the fits or paroxysms of .FF.v:: AND AG Such constitutional disorder will of courso undermine the health if it is not removed.
We have labored to find, aud have found, an antidote,
Oyer's Ague Cure, which neutralizes this malarious poison in tiia blood, and stimulates the liver lo expel it from the body. As it should, so it does cure this alllicting disorder with perfect certain ty. And it does more, or rather does what is of more service to those subject to this infection. If taken in season it expels it from the system as it is absorbed, and thus keeps those who use it free from its attacks keeps the in health although exposed to tho disease. though ently it not only cures, but protects from, great variety of affections which are induced this malignant influence-, such as Remittent

Fe ?'ever. Chill Fever, Dumb, or Masked Ague, Periodical Headache, or Bilious Headache, Bilious Fevers, Neuralgia, Rheumatism, Gout, Blindness, Toothache, Earache, Catarrh, Asthma, Palpitations, Painful Affections of the Spleen, Hysterics, Colic, Paralysis, and Painful Affections" of the Stomach and Bowels, all of which, when arising from this cause, will be found to assume more or less tho intermittent type. This "AGUE CUKE" removes the cause of these derangements, and cures the disease.
This it accomplishes by stimulating the excrstorios to expel the virus from the system ai.-d these organs by degrees become habited to do this their office of their own accord. Ilcnce arises what we term accli/notation. Time may accomplish the same end, but often life is not long enough, or is sacrificed in the attempt, while this AGUE CURE does it at once, and with safety. We have great reason to believe this is a surer as well as "safer remedy for the whole class of diseases which ar« caused by the miasmatic infection, than any other which has been daKovered and it has still another important advantage to«the public, which is, tha* it is cheap as well as good. ritcx'Ar.rTi r.r
