Dodd, Auditor of the State of Indiana, hereby certify that I have made a personal and thorough examination oftlic books and assets of the Company, at their Office in the City of Hartford, Conn., and the Company own and have in their possession in cash and insecurities convertible at pleasure, nearly One Million of Dollars, applicable to the payment of losses—an amount corresponding with their oificial statement of Jaauary last.
