HP LIE pubscribcr in returning his thanks to the many Farmers of this and surrounding counties, for the liberal patronage extended to him during the present and past years, in the way of Beef and Pork traffic nnd feeling under obligations to them for their patronage, has decided upon the following method to express his sentiments towards them for such favors. In order to introduce and foster a generous emulation among his patrons with reference to feeding sood hogs for next year's operations, he proposes therefore to distribute among them the following Premiums upon tlie best fatted lot or lots of hogs of competitor's own feeding.
