BLOOD PURIFIER & BLOOD PILLS,
PHARMACY
DR. ROBACK'S
Scandinavian Remedies.
TT^HEN Dr. Iloback, the celebrated Swedish Physician, introduced his Blood Purifier and Blood Pills in the United States, he set forth in plain language their curative properties. This was years ago. The task of recommending them has since been taken out of his hands. Enlightened men whose character for sound judgment and philosophy, gives their opinions weight in the community, men who observe, reflect, and make "assuran.ce doubly sure" before they decide—arc everywhere approving and urging the use of these wonderful Preparations. All who confide in the wisdom and honesty of t.h:s elass, or who chose to investigate for themselves are now of one mind on this important subject.
The evidence in the possession of Dr. Roback which is at all times accessible to the public, establishes the following
FACTS:
That the BLOOD PuarFiEa and BLOOD PILLS have been proved bv analysis to
CONTAIN'NO MINERAL That they cure the almost universal complaint, DYSPEPSIA, with unerring certainty, and in a very short time. hat after all other medicines have proved useless, they relieve
LIVER COMPLAINT.
and restore the health and strength of the sufferer. That
SICK FEMALES,*
who have languished for years in helpless weakness and despondency, recuperate with great rapidity under their invigorating operation.— That all sexual disabilities are removed by their cordial and gently stimulating properties. That they recruit
SHATTERED CONSTITUTIONS, however they may have been trifled with and abused that their direct tendency is to lengthen life, and render it enjoyable. That, operating directly upon the poison of disease in the blood, they
CAUSE SOON TO HEAL, nnd discharge from the system, every taint of Scrofula, whether hereditary or otherwise. That they
RECRUIT THE DEBILITATED, and that there is no disease of the Stomach and Bowels, the liver, the nervous system, the skin, glands or muscles, in which they do not give prompt relief, and, (if administered before the very citadel of life has been invaded,) effect a painless and perfect cure.
Bear in mind that the SCANDINAVIAN VEGETABLE BLOOD PILLS arc endorsed by the experience of thousands of living witnesses, who, in letters, affidavits, medical works, and by word of mouth, proclaim them to be the very best preparation of the kind ever offered to the brokendown victims of ill health. They hunt disease "through every avenue and organ of the system, and to expel it thoroughly and permanently.
No one can doubt their superiority after one single trial—they are not only better but, in fact, cheaper than any other Piils, for it takes a' leas number of them to produce a better effect.
Price of the Scandinavian Vegetable Blood Purifier, SI per bottle, or $5 per half dozen. Of the Scandinavian Vegetable Blood Pills, 25 cts. per box, or 5 boxes for $1.
Read Dr. Roback's Spccial Notices and Certificates, published in a conspicuous part of this paper from time to time.
Dr. Roback's Medical Almanac and Family Adviser, containing a great variety of interesting and valuable Medical information, can be had gratis of any of his Agents throughout the country.
In difficult or complicated cases, Dr. Roback may be consulted personally or by letter enclosing one stamp for the reply.
From Rev. Mr. -MCMULLEN, Pastor of Roberts Chapel. INDIANAPOLIS, October 6,1857.
Dr. C. W. ROBACK—Dear Sir: I have used your Blood Purifier for a nervous affection, from which I have suffered much at times. While it is pleasant to the taste, it certainly has a happy effect upon the nerves. Please accept my thanks for vourkind regards, and believe me, 'Yours, J. W. T. McMULLEN.

Consumption.
Probably no one remedy has ever been known which cured so' many and such dangerous cases as this. Somo no human aid can reach but even to those the Cherry Pectoral affords relief and comfort.
ASTOR HOUSE, NEW YORK CIT?, March 9,1858. DOCTOR AYER, LOWELL: I feel it a duty and a pleasure to inform you what your Cherry Pectoral has done for ray wife. She had been five months laboring under the dangerous symptoms of Consumption, from which no aid we could procure gave liermuch relief. Sho was steadily foiling, until Dr. Strong, of this city, where we have come Ibr advice, recommended a trial of your medicine. We bless his kindness, as wo do your skill for she lias recovered from that day. Shu is not yet as strong as she used to be, but is free from iter cough, and calls herself well.

Ayer's Cathartic Pills, TIIU
sciences of Chemistry and Medicino liave been" taxed their utmost to producc this best, most perfcct' purgative which is known to man. Innumerable proofs are shown that these PILLS have virtues which surpass in excellence the ordinary mcdicines, and that they win unprecedeptedly upon tbe esteem of all men. They are safo and pleasant to take, but powerful to cure. Tfcrfrpenetrating properties stimulate the vital activities of the bedy, reniovo the obstructions of its organs, purify tho blood, and expel disease. Theypurgeout the foul humors which brood and grow distemper, stimulate sluggish or disor-~ dcredorgan6into their natural action, and impart healthy tGlfifs wTffi' Strength to tlie whole system. Not only do they cure the every-cfoy complaints of every body, but also formidable and dangerous diseases that have baffled the best of human skill. Wbilo they produce powerfii*. ,* effects, they aro at the snmo time, in diminished doses, ti4 safest and best physic that can be employed for childron. Reing sugar-coated, they aro pleasant to ta&o and being purely vegetable, aro free from any risk of harm. Cures hare been mailo winch surpass belief were tboy not sub-' stuutiated by men of such exalted position and character as to forbid the suspicion of nntruth. Many aminent clergymen and physicians have lent their names to certify to the public tho reliability of my reuiedfes, wh'lle others have sent me tho assurance of their oeuvictlun that my Preparations contribute immensity to- Ute'ldfef of my afflicted, suffering fellow-nieEk:
