Gov. Wright Confirmed.
The nomination of Gov. Wright, ay Minister to Prussia, was sent to the Senate in the last hours of tho session, and confirmed by that body. Tho slow-coach movements of tho Administration, in this matter, need only to bo understood to be appreciated. The reason why Governor Wright was not overslaughed was because Bright, Fitch & Co., dare not face the music. They saw that his recall would be the end of the Lecompton dynasty in Indiana. It would bo agreeable to their plans, just now, to keep Gov. Wright out of the way. Of this, tho Administration and the Lecompton politicians at Washington have been fully advised. Ihe Lecompton leaders who have been buzzing about the State Capital for the last six or seven weeks, like flies around a swill tub, sent orders to Washington that Gov. Wright must be confirmed as Minister to Prussia at all hazards. If not, their game was up, and no help for it. This is the whole secret of appointment.—Aa-
