While your teacher is buying brooms let him purchase a bncket.also. His money comes easy when he closes his school.—• You that live in hearing distance of the school-house be certain to notice your old clock although it may have stopped last night on the account of cold weather, or some other misfortune, and is two hours slower than common time. But don't forgot to notice it and if possible get the word out that he don't keep the hours required by law, in this way you will induce him to continuo his school until sunset and keep your chldren sitting on them easy slabs that you mistake for seats until they will like the name of school as well as a deer does the report of a gnu.
If your children come home with their month full of school tales you should always sit. and listen at them from the time they get home until bedtime, in this way you will get them in the habit of telling an endless stream of truth.
If vourchildien get corrected at school for a mean trick, you should keep them at home, in this way you will teach theio to do better.
If any accidents happen your children at school, you should hlamo the teacher,
for accidents will not happen if the lea-h-
er attends to his business. At the commencement of school if your
children have no books, don't supply them

a while and earn his monney two or three times running after it. You must always lecolieet that it is a small sum that you owe him but don't think that those little

And if" vour teacher is employed in a fiee school yon had better advise your township treasurer to loan out w-'h^it funds he lots ou hands until lie makes the next draw, thus would be a great accommodation to the teacher, especially if he has dels to meet at the close of the te.ni.
