NEW SKY-LIGHT DAGURREOTYPE

A. §. IitJ«8EE§,

RESPECTFULLY

Or, Daguerreotypes on Glass, which is thought by many first class operators to be superior to the Daguerreotype, from the fact that they will stand in any climate and no dampness will affect them in the least and they can be taken in ouc-i'ourth the time or less than a Dagueireotype can, which is one great advantage in taking Pictures of children or persons that have weak eyes. Call and see them for yourselves, also the new rooms. I have the largest light and the best for Grouping that was ever fitted up in this place. Groups of Families and all sizes of Dagucrrctypes taken, from half size down to Pictures for Breast-Pins aud Finger Rings, and on the most reasonable terms. lD=Ladies and Gentlemen arc respectfully invited to call and see whether they want Pictures or not. Wood's Hair Rcstoratircf

is no doubt, the most wonderful discovery of this age of progress. Tfre following from a dift-

send you this certificate. After beinjjnearly bald for a long time and having tried all the hair restoratives extent, and having no faith in any, I was

induced, on hearing of yours, to give it a trial. I

placed myself in the bands of a barber, and bid my head well rubbed with a good brush, and the

Restorative

then anplied and well rubbed in

till

the scalp was all 'glow. This I repeated every morning, and in three weeks the yonng hair appetered/and grew rapidly from August last up to the present to the touch: whereas, before it was harsh and wiry, what little there was ofit, and this little wa» disappearing rapidly. I still use your Restorative about twioe a week, and thall soon have a good and perfect crop of hair. Now I have read of these things—and who has not?— but I have never seen hitherto any case in which any persons hair was really benefitted by any of the tonics, kc., of the day and it really gives ma Pleasure to record the result of my experience.—I have recommended your preparation to others, and it already has a large and general sale through out the Territory. The people have seen its cfTects, and have confidence in it. All who havo used it here will coincide with vac in what I have written. The supply you sent "us, as tbe wholesale agents of the Territory is already exhausted and daily inquiries are made for it. Yc-u deserve credit for your discovery. I, for one, return you thanks for the benefit ithas done me, fori certainly had dispaired, long long ago, of effecting any such resalt. I congratulate you that your, fortune (and a large one) is already made.

Yours, hastily. J.W.BOND.

LOGAXSPORI, Ind., June 29th, 1855.

Messrs 0. J. WOOD & Co., Gents:—YOUT-Sof the 13th inst., came duly to hand. Enclosed please find $36, it being the amount for Hair Restorative. I have sold it all. If you choose you may send me six dozen bottles Hair Restorative I think I can sell it. Ithas worked miraculas in this place. I sold a man six $1 bottles who was bald, and it fetched the hair out all over his head. Yours very respectfully.

CARLYLE, 111., June 27, 1853.

I have used Prof. 0. J. Wood's Hair Restorative, and have admired its wonderful effect. My hair was becoming, as I thought, prematurely gray, but by the use of his "Restoritive," it has resumedits original color, and I have no doubt, permanently so.

SIDNEY BREESE. Ex-Seat'or United States.

VIECIXNES,Ind June 15, 1853.

Prof. 0. J. WOOD:—As you are about to manufacture and vend yonr recently discovered Hair Restorative, I will state, for whomsoever it may concern, that I have used it, and know others who used it, that I have for several years been in the habit of using other Hair Restoratives, and that I find yours vastly superior to any other I know.— tl entirely cleanzes the head of dandruff, and with one month's proper use will restore any persons heir to original youthful color aud texture, giving it a healthy, soft, aud glossy appearance and all this without, discoloring the hands that apply it, or the dress on which it drops. I would therefore recommend its use to every one desircous of having a line color and texture to hair.

Respectf'dUv vours. WILSON KING.

ST. Lonis, June 28,1853.

Prof. Wood.—As you arc about to prepare and vend your recently discovered Hair Restorative, and as you request my opinion of it, I will state that my hair was, a few months ago, very gray and after using two bottles of your Hair Restorative, it assummcd its original color, and since its application all dandruff ha3 disappeared from my head, and I have been troubled with no disagreeable itching of the scalp. I am prepared.— therefore, to recommend its use to all who are desireous of having a beautiful head of hair.

I am, sir, yours, &c., H. L. STEWART.
