TT7E have received, opened and are daily closing out .our third stock of Dry Goods, &c.. and at such prices, we care not who may say to thft contrary that cannot be excelled this side of the Eastern cities. Say what you will in reference to "defying all competition," the way to prove the matter of cheap goods, is for the peopie themselves, who are in want, to call at the several stores ofthe placc and examine and lfeam prices^ Then we say in the language of another,

We toefy aH Coinpeiitioo^ The truth is the truth, let it come from what qdaf* ter it may and every man should pay some ihtl* attention to it.

Our stock is as large as any in the plate, end was bought as low as any man, or set of men can buy them with the cash. We do not think it advisable to buy large stocks at one purchase, for the purpose of boasting and bragging, as some of our merchants do, but prefer keeping hark a little, that we may see the changes of styles and we aro thereby frequently enabled to do better in regard to prices We are now, however.
