Nothing is so prevalent at this season of the year as a gross and sluggish state of the blood. We have no hesitation in recommending to those who would preserve their health through the dangers of this climate, a free use of the best purifying medicine known to modern science, viz: Dr. McClintock's Tonic Alterative Syrup. This remedy is not only delightful to the taste, but perfectly safe and rapid in its effects. It stimulates the liver and other glands to natural action, gives tone and nevV vigor to all the functions, and enables them to throw off' 11 unhealthy accumulations. We have heretofore alluded to the great and extending popularity of Professor McClintock, ,as a practitioner. It was welt known in Philadelphia that his success in the in the treatment of disease was imcomonly great.— His medicines were few, simple and uniformly vegetable, while they oltcn produced cures in cases that had. been giysnup for hopeless to the surprise of all. Am6ng tile most successful of those remedies, beyond doubt, stands Dr. McClintock's Tonic Alterative Syrup, as a purifier and renovator 0^ the,,blood-" Prico $1 six bottles for a .«
