Murder
BY
at Port Wayne.
The most diabolical murder was committed at Fort Wayne on tlic night of the 3d inst. A man by the name of Dunbar had come to the placc for the purpose of purchasing tank. It was known that he had considerable money, and it appears that three men named Romaine, Reefer and Madden, had deteuuiined to got it frott hiuv by some moans. They attempted, to lis© chloroform but failed in producing the desired effect, and they then followed him out of town, and watching a convenient opportunity knocked him down with a club, killing him instantly. They, then took his money and divided the spoils.— They were arrested next morning, when Madden made a confession in accordance with the above facts.
jfc&"Thc knowing ones and many "the rest of mankind," now use no oth«r cough remedy than Dr. Lococks Pulmonic Wafers. They relieve coughs, colds, asthma, sore throat, hoarseness and like complaints, in an astonishing short tim*, and will effect a permanent cure in a few days.. Thousands who have used them, unite-in declaring them agreeable to take, convenient to carry, sure to cure, pur«ly vegetable, and perfectly safe at all times far children or adults, and for public speakers and singers they are invaluable as they at once render the voice clear and flexible. Price 25 cents per box. Bold by medicine dcalejs every where, and uf-ed by thousands throughout the State? and Canudas.

NY person with a Cash Capital of two i/-~\ thousand dollars, can have an opportunity of engaging in a mercantile buisiness —the yearly sales of which amount (o twen-ty-five thousand dollars. The figures for the amount can be shown, together with names of responsible and reliable customers. Such a chance to make money occurs but once in a life time, if ever—the risks are nothing—the profits are sure, and success certain.
The only reason for giving up such a business, is, that the untiring exertion consequent upon the BI'ILDIUO UP of said business has caused health to give way and it is advised that relaxation may restore it, and delay is dangerous.
