HURD has been engaged in the practice of Dentistry in Crawfordsville and vicinity for three years past and has executed very many sets ol Teeth also the first full set that "was mode in the county which is now used in masticating to the satisfaction of the person wearing them. The best of Dentists have work to fail occasionally and in order to give value received, Dr. H. repairs all work that may fail lor five years from being executed without extra charge. In order to secure a large amount of business, his terms will be moderate.
DR. I-IURD'S facilities for getting out gold plate will enable him to supply Dentists in the West at short notice.

At the late session of the Board of Directors it was ordered that a letting of the road from Crawfordsville to Kokomo take place on the 20th day of October. Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Secretary for grubbing, grading, bridging, and tics, up to the above date. It was also ordered that three per cent, of the capital stock be called for, payable on or before the 1st day of September, A. D. 1853, for the purpose of paying for surveys and locating the roaeL
