IN

Sides Best Spanish Sole Leather, just received and

ofTerinor this valuable improvement to an intelligent community, the attentioh of the public is most respectfully invited to an examination of the merits and utility ofthe Maqhine, being confident in the belief that no Machine for making shingles has yet been introduced with equal advantages.

This Machine has taken the Premiums a-t the American Institute and at several

STATE FAIRS.

It is constructed on entirely a new and improved principle, whereby it is rha.de applicable to almost every situation and circum-/ stance in the manufacture, of., Shingles.— Having an advantage over all others in Jointing the Shingle ready for use. It requires only about one-horse power to propel a machine and steam, horse or water can be applied with equal advantage.

Shingles made by this machine are considered superior in quality and form to any yet manufactured—having an even nnd smooth surface, & can be ma'!c from almost all kinds. of timber that grow in the forests of our country, without waste of timber.

The machine has been exhibited in various places to the entire satisfaction of thousands who have witnessed the operation, and nu-. merous testimonials of approbation have been given, commendatory of the merit thd utility of said Machine.

This Machine is in operation on Gteeni street near the Depot, Crawfordsville where the undersigned will be hnpny to see any & all those who feel an interest in labor saving machinery and would inform those who wish to embark in the business, that they have for sale three-fourths of the State of the above machine, which rights they will dispose of on the most advantageous terms.— We would say to the citizens of Crawfordsville and the surrounding country, that we are prepared to supply the market with a first rate article of Shingles on.accommodating terms.
