STATE FAIRS.

It is constructed on entirely a new and improved principle, whereby it us rriade applicable to almost every situation and circumstance in the manufacture of Shingles.— Waiving an advantage over all others in Jointing" the Shingle ready fo? use. It requires only about pne-horse power to propel a machine and steam, horse or water can be applied with equal advantage.

Shingles made by this machine are considered superior in quality and form to any yet manufactured—havifig an even and smooth a surface, & can be made from almost all kinds of timber that grow in the forests'of our couutry, without waste of timber.

The maehine has been exhibited in various places to the entire satisfaction ot thousands who have witneesed the operatiofi,-afid nunierous testimonial of appfoba'Jfon have been given, commendatory of the rtief it and Utility of said Machine

This. We would say to the citizens of Crawfordsville and the surrounding country, that we are prepared to supply the market with a first rate article of Shingles on accommodating terms. Poplar or Walnut timber taken in exchage for shingles.
