THE UMPIRE ESTATE I
The "Umpire Estate" is the name of tne only genuine air tight stove that ever was made. Built
principles, their extraordinary fire Keeping qualities, elements of air tightness, fuel saving capacity, control of fire and rapid heating, and durability of the materials used, all combine in making them perfect stoves.
Exercise for a moment your own mechanical judgment apply it to a critical examination and comparison as between the construed jn of the Umpire and others of this type of heaters, and your verdict will, we are sure, be that reached by the experience of those whose words follow below:
SMART 5BURG, Sept. 12, '98.—The Umpire Estate stove thu I bought of you is the best heater that I ever owned gives splendid satisfaction would not exchange it for any other kind keeps fire, is cleanand takes but little fuel. I can recommend it to any friends wanting a good stove. .. ..... WM. J. LYNCH.

HARNESSp
Honest Leather^^
Is the only kind of leather that goes into the harness we make. It's easy enough to slight a set ot /harness if the maker wants to. It's easy enough to disguise the quality. It's easy enough to make a cheap harness look like a good one, but the truth comes out in the wear. We want every set of harness we make to be an advertisement fo~ us as long as it lasts. We have everything in the way of horse furnishings.

When you beat Henry Wilhite and Uncle Daniel Patton for fast horses, it will be colder than it has been thiB week.
Now, Wingate, what is the matter with you? Haven't we salted and pepered our letters to suit your taste? If not we will try and suit you if wo have to put a little apple-jack in. Wo are glad you remind us that we hadn't said anything about the streetcar line. Now listen: Ben G. Swank's big tank busted and scared Bill Foot's horse and it ran away and tore up all of the rolling stock but a wheelbarrow. It makes the trip three times a week, and as for the hack line, our good Deaou Wilson tabes our mail to the city and back six times a week, and don't charge us a cent extra for all of that talk he gives us. If you had taken that long grin off of your face you would have stood a better cha ce in your prayers for that squire you were praying God to send. Tell us now whether he answered your prayer or not. Now these parties you mentioned in your last letter. Ben Spank is our attorney at law, ana Will Foot is our Sunday teacher, attends regular and is a nice fellow, and HS for Jauies Swank, he is a hustler. IIo opened his little store a year ago with a stock of §35.00 andthe iast year he has sold to the amount of §1,539 49 worth of goods, flow is that?
There are no Hies on him. Now Wingate come down autl we will eat some ham and pggp, an

Don't give them tea or coffee. Have you tried the new food drink called Grain-o? It is delicious and nourishing and takes the place of coffee. The more Grain you give the children the more bfinlth you distribute through their systems. Grain-o is made of pure grains, and when properly prepared taste like the choice grades of coffee but costs about one fourth as much. All grocers sell it 15c and 25c.
