Many years ago John I. Miller and Ed Sbepp build a wagon and blacksmith shop here, and when the boys went home at night, they would prop the door witb a rail. The bogs in those days ran at large, and in morning when tbe boys came back to work tbey would find the shavings utilized for a bed and ths shop full of bogs. One moonlight mgbt some youngsters wrote on the door with chalk: "Hog Heaven." This is how our place got its name.
