their troubles and Bufferings in their own hearts and silently endure is a a in a strong men to in agony.
The suffer
ings of women are more than half unknown and unappreciated. The refined sensitiveness of their organism lays them liable to
a thousand exquisite tortures which coarser nature can never experience or comprehend.
The least derangement or disorder of the delicate special organism of their sex overwhelms the whole physical and mental being with weakness ana wretchedness.
But it is a mistake to suffer these troubles in silence. They may be cured in the perfect privacy of homet without the repugnant ordeal of examinations and "local treatment," which the family doctor is sure to insist upon.
No physician in the world ha8 had a wider or more successful experience in the treatment of woman's diseases than Dr. R. V. Pierce, chief consulting physician to tfie Invalids' Hotel and Surgical Institute, of Buffalo, N. Y. His Favorite Prescription is a positive cure for the most obstinate and complicated feminine difficulties.
It is the only medicine^ of its kind prepared by an educated, skilled physician. Mr. J. F. Sneed, of Omen. Texas, writes: My wife was badly afflicted with female weakness. We tried three of the best physicians in the country without benefit, but at great expense. My wife grew worse, and we gave up in despair. .She could not get in and out of doors without help was not able to stand on her feet long at a time, complained of dragging down pains in abdomen. Nothing but an untimely death seemed awaiting her, when happy thought! the name of Dr. Pierce came to my mind. I wrote to Dr. Pierce received his advice, followed it, my wife improved perceptibly from the first two week's treatment, continued the treatment sx months, and pronounced the cure compute, at a cost of less than one month's treatment by the last physician we employed before consulting Dr. Pierce. She used Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription and the lotions recommended by him. It has been two years since, and the good effect is permanent"

The reported sale of Crawford's two streakB of ruBt, known as the Midland and running through the south part of the county, is again flying around, The Lebanon Reporter says: "Locally the feeling is prevalent that the deal has alrpady been made and that the Monon is scheduled to take possession Friday. A Monon man, who has given the matter considerable at' tention, says the Chicago & Southeastern is doing a first class freight business and is turning over to his road a great deal of freight. He declares, also, that ttfe road is making money. He says that if the Monon had not arrangements to get the old Midland, that the
Big Four in time would have secured it as that road would prefer to spnd itB freight from Anderson and other points direct to Lebanon, instead ot bringing by way of Indianapo'lis.

On the Ankle Spread to the Kne* end Developed Into Bolls—No Trouble Since Taking Hood's. "I was troubled with a disagreeable itching on one of my ankles. In time it developed into boils of which I had five or six at a time. The humor spread from my ankle to my knee and was very painful. It baffled the skill of physicians. For weeks I could not bear my weight on this foot. An abscess formed and was lanced and the humor broke out on my other ankle and threatened to repeat my former experience. Hood's Sarsaparilla attracted my attention and I began takjfig it. In six weeks I was better, and began to hope for a permanent cure. I took Hood's Sarsaparilla six inoti: hs and was entirely cured. I have had no trouble with humor sinoe that time." MRS. M. B. MACINTOSH, Barrington, Illinois. Remember
