Wood won't burn unless air—oxygen—is present. The food taken into the body must be united with oxygen before it can be consumed and give heat to keep the body warm. Scott's Emulsion of Codliver Oil, with Hypophosphites, is one of the best fuelfoods. The cod-liver oil obtains its oxygen from the air and heat is produced, it warms, nourishes, invigorates, gives good blood, and fortifies against the piercing winds of fall and winter The hypophosphites tone up the nervous system and improve digestion. Scott's Emulsion prevents colds, coughs, consumption and general debility.

SCOTT'S EMULSION has been endorsed by the medical profession for twenty years. (/4iA your doctor.) This is becouse it is always palatable—always uniform —always contains the purest Norwegian Cod-liver Oil mud Hypopkosphites.

CONSPIRACY IS SHOWN

DAMAGING TELEGRAMS ARE FOUND.

South Africa Compnuy Party to the Crime—Lefters {u.-tlcatlng Preparation for the Invasion— Others Implicated—

Foreign News. ...A............

London, May 7.—The Daily Telegraph has a dispatcL from Cape Town which indicates that the conspiracy to overthrow the Transvaal had a still wider ramification. This dispatch says: "It is stated that all thn telegrams from the Chartered South Africa company in Cape Town bore the .-:tamp 'On the company's service.' From copies of the letters which the Transvaal obtained from Dr. Jameson (upon hia capture) it seems that orders had been given to prepare everything in Matabelelnnfi for an invasion of the Transvaal. "The executive council's decision in regard to the sentence of the reformers is delayed by the stubborn objections of Gen. Jourbet (commander-in-chief of the Transvaal forces and a member of the executive council) that there should be a unanimous opinion on the .-onteii''(,H."

The Daily Mail asserts that Rutherford Harris, the secretary in Cape Colony of the Chartered South Africa

company, has tendered his resignation. He was one of those implicated in the Jameson raid bv the Transvaal crytogram.

A Paris dispatch to the Standard says that the Temps' Pretoria correspondent reports that papers are about to be submitted to the Transvaal volksraad which contain an extract, from the English instructions to Jameson's troopers. "Proof exists," says the Temps' correspondent, "that the Rhodesia horse were ordered to be in readiness for the raid."

Johannesburg, May 8.—The Standard Johannesburg. May 7.—The Standard and Diggers' News says it has authority to state that the sentences of the so-called reformers will be reduced to a small fine and imprisonment. The sentence of banishment, the newspapers "adds, will be waived.

Your Physical (Jontlition

Neods attention at this time. Jf you are tired, weak and nervous, it is clear that your blood is impure, and without doubt there has been too much overwork or strain on brain and body. The course of treatment for such a condition is plain and simple. The blood must first be purified BO that the nervous system and in fact all tha organs will be fed upon pure blood. Intelligent people without number have testified that the best blood purifier, nerve tonic and strength imparting medicine is Hood's Sarsaparilla. Nervousness, IOSB of sleep and general debility all vanish when Hood's Sarsaparilla is persistently taken in a word, health and happiness follow after taking Hood's Sarsaparilla.
