Frank Horney started for Iowa last Monday, leaving a daughter one hour old and two other children sick. They will.join him as soon as they are able.
Our town consists of two stores, one elevator, one boarding house, two blacksmith shops, one church, nineteen dwelling houses, a population of seventy. two old maids and one bachelor.

Theodore Hixon diod of lung trouble on the 8th inst. and was buried on the 11th. The funeral was preached by Rev. Trotter, and the remains were laid to rest in the old Pleasant Hi!! cemetery.
Mrs. Philander Duffield Waife died on the 8th inst. of lung trouble. She WHS born near Odell Corner in Tippecanoe county. She was a member of the M. E. church. She was a kind mothor and loaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss.
