Not Cured. Krank Cornell, who was last week diemissed from tho Indiana insane hospital as cured, was again recommitted this week, having shown signs of insanity again. He has been stopping at Mace since his return. Mr. Cornell's case is one of sad misfortune, and the chances are that a pormanont cure cannot be effected.

At the homo of his son, C. E. Smith, on west Wabash avenue, Sam D. Smith, the well-known tailor, passed away on Sunday night, after a long illness. Mr. Smith was 74 years ot age and was born in Hamilton county, Ohio. He came with his parents to this county at tho ago of eight years, and hafi resided here since. He was an active business man in his younger days and was at one time county sheriff Kor a number of years he carried on a successful merchant tailoring business.
