.THINNER* 011 iiiih'I THROUGH Iwhira* lion.

At Music Hall Wednesday night durniir the production of "Charley's Aunt,"' a number of students, who had reserved seats in the gallery and who had very considerately wadded up a batch of their colors and sent oti the stage for the powdered faced damsels lo wear during the performance, iu order to tickle their eye of vanity, dis'guated the i.: erve persons of the large audience assembled as lias been done in times past, by yelping out their yell (?l which of course in this age is a strict necessity in the -natter of acquiring an education. Class yells and College yells have been and no doubt will be all right in their place for time to come, and are all right as far as showing a proper College spirit is concerned, but to assemble in a public hall or any other place where ladies are gathered and give their deafening yells, is entirely uncalled for and decidedly out of place. Should any of oui resident young men or even the country boys attempt a single out break it is dollars to dough nuts that they would be bodily dragged oil to jail and have imposed upon then a heavy lint* for their boislerousness. Will the .Music llall directors not look into this matter and see that all its patrons are treated fair and impartial? This business is becoming monotnious and should be called to a halt at once. It is neither amusing or elevating and all the people can see in it is kidn play.
