A Former Crawfordsville Citizen is Fatally Shot by a Couple of Drnnkken Vagabonds at Loganaport Sunday Night.
Warren Knowles, a young man who formerly held a position at the Junction house in this city was the victim of a murderous assault at Logansport on Sunday night which may prove fatal, lie was in the neighborhood of the Vandalia depot when a counle of drunken teamsters approached hitn. One of them Riley Ellis grabbed and held him while the other man Harry Warden de" liberately placed a revolver to his heart and discharged it, Both men then ran away and left their victim mortally wounded. He was removed to the St. Joseph's Hospital where he was given medical attention.
