The holiday trade has been rather poor at. most, points.partly owing to mild weather. There is. distinctly more confidence shown about the future demand for industrial products, though prices are not better. Domestic exports increase a little, though exportable .staples are not better in price. Money continues toai-cumulate here, and there is no enlargement iu the legitimate demand for commercial loans, though some offering.-, of naiii-r. apparently to prepare for yeariv settlements. have excited remark. 1'riees of agricultural products no not improve. Wheat is unchanged for the week, although western rcceuts have fallen to bushels, ag in-»t L'.5•},••I(l for the same week last year, ind it does not count for much that tne Atlantic exports were Mi.i.O-j.V agaim.t T44.-1T last year. The visible supply still grows and now ."•*. V.'I.OOO bushels. Larger orders for manufactured products have appeared. anil yet. except in boots and shoes, the general ieudenev of prices is downward. Steel billets sell at $tl" at Pittsburg and Bessemer pig at Ai at Valley Mills, and in other products the tone is on the whole weaker, except that structural beams hold the recent small advance.
Yet quite large transactions are re-L ported iu pig iron and billets and improved demand for barred rails, while nothing is doing in "i 'l-aiN. business in sheets and plates is light.

liver since Prof. Koch startled the world by promising to cure cousumjition with the Koch lymph and his complete failure to do so, the people have been looking fur some discovery which would prove an absolute, certain cure for that dread disease. Over a 1 quarter of a century ago Dr. K. V. l'ietce, I chief consulting physician to the Invalids' I Hotel and Surgical Institute, put in a claim for a medicine, which he had discovered and used, in his extensive practice, that 1 would »7/r ninety-eight per cent, ofall cases of consumption when taken in all its early stages. Time has proved that his assertion was based 011 facts gained from experience. His "Cfolden Medical Discovery "has cured many thousand people in all parts of the world, and Dr. Pierce invites all interested to send to him for a free book which given the names, addresses and photographs of many prominent people who have willingly testified to the marvelous curative properties of his Cfolden Midical Discovery."
