Povrrty Snnnl. The poverty social giver, by the Fpworth League of the Methodist church on last, Saturday night was a decided success. The admission fee was an old garment suitable for the poor or tive cents in cash. Those who came with "biled shirts on paid a three cent line and the ladies who neglected to wear the'r caiicos did likewise. Should a young man desire the pleasure of a chat with a young lady present he was likewise assessed the sum of three coppers. In that manner they secured a snug sum of money for their noble cause. Mush and milk were served for the Btomaeh while a choice program of music was rendeied for the good of the soul.
