I Will the Relief Association's work be done during this winter. Heretofore it \va.-impossible to refuse aid to big able bodied men who had applied At the time they made application they were •I out of work and as Ear as actual need was concerned, they were in need. This winter however arrangements will be 1 made to give labor to such people at fyir wages and thus they can hardly he solely dependent on the public. The headquarters will bo at the same place as last winter, in the V. M. C. A. build ing, and Fraiis Abraham will again assume the peculiar duties of Secretary.

The Association is a good thing and is an absolute necessity, but like nearly every other institution of similar objects it has been taken advantage of by a lot of worthless bummers, who will be compelled to shift a little this winter or go without. Their scheroo is a good one I and will make the. work less trouble-
