Saturday morning of last week the home of George Brasslield. near Darlington. took tire from a defective Hue and burned to the ground togother with al! its contents. It happeued early in the morning before the family had gotten up from their beds and it was by mere luck that they discovered the ilames just i-n time to escape fiom the burning house, clad in their night clothes. It was a very close call (or them as they would have perished had the discovery been stayed but a few moments later. The house was partly insured.
