James P. Crane, K- Fayette street, yesterday morning. Mrs. Cogan came here a few days ago on a visit. She was ill when she came, but had improved so much during tho last few days that she was preparing to go on to Washington. Yesterday morning she went down stairs holding a handkerchief saturated with biood to her mouth. She said she was dying, and before a physician could be called she was dead. Coroner Beck was notified aud gave it as his opinion that death was due to a hemorrhage of the lungs."

The journal of a car loaded with Maxinkuckee ice broke and nine cars wero hurled down the embankment and piled up in a promiscuous manner. The car causing the wreck was about live cars back from the engine. It was the most disastrous wreck the Van has experienced for some time. Passenger trains went er the Monon from this city to Lafayette until the., track ...was cleared.

"There will be only one penalty," said he, "and that I will be dismissal from the order." It is announced that tho Order of Railway Conductors will take tho lirst step in the movement. The members of tho local division who joined the strike have been summoned to appear before the meeting next Sunday. By tho instructions of the grand chief, E, E. Clark, of Cedar Rapids, la., members are to be considered in three classes— those who remained faithful to their order, those who cjuit work because they {eared bodily harm from strikers, and those who went on strikes in obedience to the order of Debs. Tho first class will be praised, the second censured and the last dismissed from the order.
It is announced that the charters some of the divisions in tne state will bv revoked. "1 shall be surprised if thechaiters of the Frankfort and Huntington divisions are not revolted said a member of the order.—Torre Msmto Express.
