Castoria is an excellent medicine tor cud' dren. Mothers have repeatedly told me of iu ooJ effect upon their children.''
Da. G. C. Osgood. Lo-.vell, 3taia.
Castoria is the best ruraudy for children of vhich I am acquainted. I hope tho clay is not for distant when mothers will consider the rent interest of their children, and uso Castoria inead of the various quack nostrums which are destroying their loved ones, by forcing opium, morphine, soothing syrup and other hurtful apents down their throats, thereby sending them to premature graves." 0n. DeirV.'arbinton, the nominee and nest treasur?!- of -Montgomery county, is 35 years old and he isn't ashamed to tell it. Ho was raised on a farm. After graduating from a commercial college he took a clerkship with Barnhill. Hornaday a* l'ickett. After 10 years constant service he resigned his position to become deputy treasurer under John (J. Hutton, two men that are conducting that oflice right up to the scratch. Since his wife's death two years ago Ben has been the main support of a widowed mother and his sister, lie is one of the best accour.tants that ever handled the books in the treasurer's office. It devolves upon the deputy treasurer to have charge of tho book keeping. The very fact that each annual settlement of the
j,,treasurer has been correct to a cent is the best comment that can be given on the efficiency of the officers in charge.
Warbintou will be elected. .v
James Johnson, the democratic "nominee for auditor, is one of the old wheel horses of the party and is entitled to the suil'rage of the voters. lie is a Mraight forward, uian in ever sense of the word.

He taught school for a number of years, studied meuieine some and read law before enkTiny into the active of. his cliosen profession here about eight years ago.
