Will euro Yon, itt a truo statement of tho action of AVKU'S barsaparilla, when taken for diseases originating in impure blood but, while thin assertion is truo of AYER'S Saraapariliu, as thousands can attest, it cannot be truthfully applied to other prcparationsL which unprincipled dealers will recommcnd, and try to impose upon you, as "just as jjood a* Ayer's." Take Ayer's Sarsapanllu aiul Ayer's only, if you nend a blood-purifier and would bo benel.Uid permanently.
This medicine, for nearly fifty years, ha~ enjoyed a reputation, and made a record for cures, that has never been equaled by other preparations. AYER'S Sarsaparilla eradicates the taint of hereditary scrofula and other blood diseases from the system, and it has, deservedly, the confidence of the people.
AVER'S Sarsaparilla
"I cannot forbear to express my joy at the relief I have obtained from the use •of AYlill'S Sarsaparilla. I was aftlictcd with kidney troubles for about six mouths, suffering greatly with pains in the small of mv back. In addition to this, my body was covered with pimply eruptions. The remedies proscribed failed to help 1110. I then began to take
AYER'S Sarsaparilla, and, in a short time, the paius ccased and the pimples disappeared. I advise, every young man or woman, in case of sickness resulting from impure blood, no matter how long standing the ease may be, to take AYER'S Sarsaparilla."—H.Ti.Jarniann, 33 William st., Now York City. ....

You

Jump Is Finally Appointed. WASHINGTON, D. C., November 6.— Joshua Jump's commission as collector of internal revenue was forwarded to him at Terre Ilauti to-day. As stated in the dispatches Saturday, the nomination was agreed upon last week, but it waB decided not to make the formal announcement until to-day. Congressman Brookshire has been opposing Jump'a appointment. He called at the White House this morning, and made an effort to Bee Mc.\ Cleveland, but the President was not receiving. When informed by The NewB correspondent that the appointment was settled and Jump's commission had been forwarded to him, Mr. Brookshire looked amazed, and started for the Treasury Department to verify the news. The nomination of Jump is a triumph for Sonator Voorhees and John E. Lamb, although Jump was indorsed by every democratic congressman in the revenue district except Taylor and Brookshire. It is another "turn down" for the Cleveland wing of the Indiana democracy, a victory for the followers of the late Isaac Pusey Gray. Mr. Brookshire was an original Cleveland man, and his candidate. Walter Hulit, organized Brookshire's congressional district to secure Cleveland delegates 07er Gray men.—Indianapolis

Windfall for Wabash.
Several years ago Jacob Harmon, of Warren county, died and left Wabash college 640 acres of valuable land in Iroquois county, Illinois. A nephew of Mr.|Harmon sued the college for possession, alleging that his uncle had given him the land before he died. After tho usual preliminary skirmishes the case came to trial in Chicago before Judge Blodgett, of the United States circuit court and was decided in favor of the college. The plaintiff then took an appeal to the United States circuit court of appeals, where it was heard last June by Chief Justice Fuller and Judges Jenkins and Grosscup of the court of appeals. The college was represented by Judge Thomas and Hon. P. S. Kennedy, who, Monday, received word that the original decision of Judge Blodgett had been affirmed. Tho winning of the suit means many thousands of dollars to Wabash college.

On motion of Mr. G. W. Paul on Monday last, Mrs. Fannie Graham was admitted to tho practice of law in the Montgomery Circuit Court. Six Years in Bed from Xeruous Prostration. ITAHTKOIII) CITY, Ind.. June 8,1893. —Dear Gents:—I received a letter from you May 27, stating that you had heard of my wonderful recovery from a spell of sickness of six years duration through the use of South American Nervine and asking for my testimonial. I will gladly state how I "was delivered from my extreme pain and suffering. I was perfectly prostrated and helpless for six long years, could not rise from my bed, stand upon my feet nor walk, 1 was treated bv many of the best physicians for many miles around and all agreed that I would never leave my bed. At last I lost the use of my body and had to be lifted like a child. A part of the time I could read a little and one day 1 saw your adveriisement in a paper and concluded to try one bottle. Its effects were wonderful in relieving restlessness and pain. I soon could rise from my bed and take a few steps by being held. After I had taken live bottles I was strong and well and able to be out cauvassiDg for foreign missions. My friends could scarcely believe that it was me, I am sure South American Nervine is the best medicine in the world. It was a God send to me and I believe it saved my life.
