Emma Spingler will air her marital woes in court by bringing suit for a divorce against Henry Spingler. Emma states .in her complalut that Henry is certainly the mo3t trifling specimen of his sex. A Washington correspondent to the Indianapolis News says: "There may be a departure in tho case of Joshua Jump, of the Torre Haute district, who is the choice of Sonator Voorhees anl the other big wigs of Indiana politics. Congressman Brookshirehas been making a strong personal fight for W. F. Hulett, of Crawfordsville, and has predicted the lattors appointment. Ho has the backing •f several of the original Cleveland men of Indiana, who believe that the appointment of Jump meansa war against Brookshire for ronomination. Even if Ilulott is not appointed the fight may become so warm against Jump that some compromi candidate like Treasurer Conzman, of Vigo connty, may be selected."

"Ohucky" Fell's Downfall.

"Chucky" Fell, he cf the auburn looks and speckeled complexion, had a merry time of it Tuesday night. He first got roaring drunk up town and then went home and proceeded to break up housekeeping. He began by kicking his wife out Into the frosty air and then went after the furniture and dishes In hU usual happy style. He was right In tho midst of the wreckage when Officer Gill arrived on the scene and ran him In. It was great fun while it lasted but "O, what a difference in the morning."
