Lost His Shoes,

For ways that are dark and tricks that are vain tho hoodlum element around the Monon depot is peculiar. Last Saturday morning a traveling man was taken to the Monon station to tafce the 2 o'clock north bound train. As tho train was about four hours late the drummer proceeded to make a cot on one of the benches and snooze tho time away. A couple of hours later he was awakened by an extreme chilliness on his pedal extremities. A haBty glace told the story. Some thief had sneaked in, and takjpg the shoes from his feet had made away with them If there was ever a warmer man in Orawfordsville than this drummer it was never our misfortune to meet him.
