A Great Hit.
Laugh! Of course they did. They couldn't help it. The broad grin lasted, too, until they reached the street, and that's the best part of it. This was at Granite Hall last evening. The occasion was the presentation of the funiest farce comedy ever written—"A Social Session"—and the continued applause and hearty bursts of laughter wsre sufficient evidence of the satisfaction it gave the packed house that had assembled to witness it. The singing of Kate Sprague was fine, and was repeatedly encored. The specialties of Billy Gray brought down tho house time and time again. The balance of the company was good throughout. The music of the orchestra was a feature and was particularly tine.—Kennebec Journal.
