JENKINS,

A World-Wide Imperialism of Capital. ED. REVIEW:Mr. Fairbanks in his speech at Music Hall lifted up the curtain, and any lover of this country who can see must feel some alarm.

The speaker spoke of General Harrison's proposed inter-national money congress and said that a union of interest was

deBired

then we would have more

money. What he meant by "more money" is moro of purchasing power. Pairbanks is five times a millionaire and a world-wide imperialism of capital would be to his liking. And we remember Harrison's aristocratic mould. All the money legislation this country has had under tho Republican party has been to the liking of the money barons. We remembor Mr. Hazzard's infamous circular scheme and Wall street's ready acceptance of that Plutonian plot and knavish conspiracy. Yes, we remember John Sherman's Seven Conspiracies coming out of the tomb of monetary crime which gives birth now to tho In-ter-National Monetary scheme spoken of by Fairbanks. The intercourse was with tho aristocratic proclivities of the Republican leaders and that knot of Jew money managers located on Lombard street, London, England. Yes, sirs, from the congress of these named elements have come all our modern hardships and money panics. Nothing short of a money Empire controlling tho world will satisfy tho whe'.ps and hounds of hell. To destroy Republics is tho first necessary step—not in name but in effect will

suffice.

Secular government

is a despised thing to capitalists. Now with this bold scheme of tho money powers espoused by the Republican party which is to cover the entire globo with its blighting shade, will poor men vote it? The alarm bells are ringing. Tho schemes against the ^government have been exposed by no one more clearly than by the Big Four millionaire in his speech here. There is but one and only one hope for the people. Lot tho Alliance mon, the men of tho F. M. B. A., the guards of labor, the K. of L., those who have beon reading up tho history of modern Money Schemes hear that. Hope is the success of tho Democratic party The third party is too weak. Tho Democratic party is now, has always beon opposed to a mopied monarchy. It can win, and we believe will win. But thinking men must do their duty—blast for ever the hope of tho conspirators November. KNIGHT

As she enters

womanhood, every young girl needs the wisest care. Troubles beginning then may make her whole life miserable.

But tho troubles that are to bo feared have a positive reniedy. Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription builds up and strengthens the system, and regulates and promotes every proper function. It's a generous, supporting tonic, and a quieting, soothing nervine—a legitimate medicine, not a beverage, free from aloohol and injurious drags. It corrects and cures, safely and surely, all those delicate derangements, weaknesses, and diseases peculiar to the sex.

A remedy that does cure is one that can be guaranteed. That's what the proprietors of "Favorite Prescription" think. If it doesn't give satisfaction, in every case for which it's recommended, they'll refund the money. No other medicine for women is sold on snoh terms.

Decide for yourself whether something else sold by the dealer, is likely to be "just good" for you to buy. ..

The

Republicans Much Worry Judge's Influenoe.

The announcement from Chicago that Judge Walter Q. Greshain has said that he will vote for Cleveland, is the principal topic of discussion, says the Indianapolis News, around tho pdlitical headquarters to-day. The officers, employes and hangers-on of the Democratic State committee are jubilant over the news. Thoy say they have no doubt about its authenticity. Some of the visitors at the committee rooms this forenoon expressed tho opinion that Judge Gresham would take with him at least two or three thousand young Indiana Republicans, who at best, they say, have not been enthusiastic for Harrison. "I was not surprised when tho announcement of Gresham's declaration cauio,'' Baid Secretary Reilly, of the State committee. "The committee had known for several days that^Judgo Gresham would, vote for Cleveland. That is, wo had boon reliably informed that he would Tho information came to us in a confidential way, and could not be used. I have no doubt about tho authenticity of tho newspaper reports that come from Chicago."

Talking Through His Hat, Mr. Cockrum's speech at Wingate Wednesday night didn't tend to increase his party's changes in that localitj republican who attended tho meeting said Cockrum talked like a man with tho blino staggers. His whole speech was a mess of sonseless twaddle and if he expected his hearers to believe many of his remarks ho presumed a great deal upon their ignorance. For moro than an hour ho Haunted tho bloody shirt by delivering a tirade of abuse upon tho domocratic party. Among other things ho said tho tariff was a tax, that the farmers were prosperous, that Cleveland hired a substitute and would not pay him, that Stevenson was a cop per-hoad and a member of tho Golden Circle, that democrats wore traitors, that tho new election law was based on infamy and corruption, that if necessary ho was in favor of arming men with shot-guns to conduct tho oloctions in the South, that Cleveland vetoed moro ponsion bills than all the Presidents since Washington, that tho flag of the domocratic party was the English flag and so on until most of his hearers left in disgust. A few moro Cockrums in in Indiana and tho domocratic victory iB assured.

Pettit, brought suit against the county commissioners for $12,000 and six per cent, interest from September 28, 1892.
