A candidate who has been elected to an of lice and will then do his advertising iu »n« opposite parly's paper ought, to be kicked to death by a jackass. We have a county officer who has the uall to do that very tiling, lie will let his own party organ die for want of support and help a paper whoso principle caii be secured for so many dollars ami cents. When will voters have sense enough to elect men who will not how to the enemy'.'

poison had written to the authorities at Washington City and tried to stop sa.d soldier's pension, which be was drawing. The merchant who did this afterward boasted how he had gotten the soldier mail and secured the trade fer himself, and thinks ho has done an awful smart trick, but a loan who will stoop that low will run away from a town and change his name to get out of paying his honest di.
