To the Supreme Court, gave Indianapolis a new charter, and gare Terre Haute and Efanstille what those cities most needed, passed a general taxation bill, si measure now in all its provisions authorized a tax commission and passed a bill reducing fees and salaries, besides a luuliiude of measures iargely local in their application. Legislative and Congressional apportionment bills were also passed, and while the Democratic majority was overwhelming in lioih brauching it had the nerve to reorganize the Richmond Asylum and lo c.irrect other abuses called to legislative attention.
Regret is felt over the failure of the bill for the abatement of White Cap outrages by giving the injured parties.a lien for damages on counties where the abuses occur, but satisfaction is expressed that llagoe's so-called Cml Service bill, which be wanted to apply to all fitato mstitntians, shared a similar fato. All in all, the members have little to regret pave their failure to secure a fee and salary bill, which may be satisfactory to their constituency, but a step has been taken in lhat direction, and two years from now a better opportunity will be ottered for still further advancement.

Scrofulous Humor .1 Cure "Almost Miraculous.'' Wlion I was years of ago I hail a sever* attack of rheumatism, and after 1 recovered had to go on crutchcs. A year later, scrofula. In tho form of wliito swellings, appeared 011 various parts of my body, and for It years I was an invalid, being confined to my bed years. In that time ten or eleven sores appeared and broke, causing 111c great pain and suffering. I feared I never should get well.
Early in 1SSG I went to Chicago to visit a sister, but was confined to my bed most of the time I was there. I11 July I read a book,' A Day with a Circus,' In which wero statements 1 of cures by Hood's Sarjaparilla. I was so impressed with the success of thismedlcino that
I decided to try it. To my great gratification tho sores soon decreased, and I began to feci better and in a short time I was np and out of doors. 1 continued to take Hood'sSarsaparilla for about a year, when, having used six bottles, I bad become so fully released from tho disease that I went to work for the Flint & Walling Mfg. Co., and since then
HAVK NOT IJOST A S1XUI.K I)A\" 011 account of sickness. I believe the disease is expelled from my system, I always feel well, am in good spirits and have a good appetite. 1 am now 27 years of ago and can walk as well as any one, except that one limb is a little shorter than the other, owing to tho loss of bone, and the sores formerly on my right leg. To my friends my recovery seems almost miraculous, and I think flood's Sarsaparilla is tho king of medicines." WILLIAM A. I.r.im, 9 K. Railroad St., lvendallvillo, lnd.
