Miss Minnie Bollman, who has been sick for the past week, is batter at this writing. Mrs. Frank Jamison died on Saturday morning. The funeral eevices were conducted by Rev. Hamilton.
The Slabtown schoollhouse have postponed their literary ou account of continual sickness in th« neighborhood.
The man wlio butchers hogs on Sunday, also finds it a day to gather his torn. If it is not stopped we will mention his name in onr next letter.
Richmond & Ross ou January 1st will occupy the beautiful new room In the Miller block on north Washington street. The funeral services of the wife of Frank Jameson took place at the M. E. cburcb here last Sunday at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Hamilton officiating. The remains were laid away the O'Neal graveyard.

Townsley & Work started their corn crusher on last Saturday, they have replaced the old grinding plates with new ones which make8 tbeir crusher as good as new. Friday and Saturday of each week are set apart for crush Ing coru for any one wanting such work done.
