TUe divisions have not all been decided upon, and the sections will be added at later meetings of the committee. The several departments are:

The woman's bureau is made a division of tbe last-named department, "the progress of human labor and invention." The committee is composed of sixty representatives from nine States and five Territories and was appointed by the different Governors at tho Deep-Water Harbor convention in the fall of 186S. The object of the convention is to secure a deep-water harbor on the coast of tho Gulf of Mexico. The present mooting is important, as the present Congress has appropriated S500,000 to begin the improvementof Galveston harbor and authorized tho board of engineers to enter into additional contracts for carrying on the v.ork. to the amount of Srt,'^00,000.

Wyo., Oct. 3.—Ueorge llenaerson, manager of the Clay & Forrett Cattle Company's business in Wyoming, was shot, and killed Wednesday morning by a cowboy in his employ, who escaped after the killing. The killing occurred near Rongis, Fremont County, the scene of the lynching o! Postmaster Averi'.l and Cattle Kat* about a year ago and is an outgrowth of that affair.
