Mrs. Steol, of Balhinch, spent part of this week with home folks. Tom Nelson spent last Sunday with Mr. Henderson.

Harry Smith went to Indianapolis last Monday to remain until his hand gets well.

Belle Weliver, ol' Mount Olivet, was the guest of Dora King Sunday. The basket meeting at Mount Pleasunt was a grand success.

Perry Cofman was in this nighborhood Sunday. Harry Freeman, of Cherry Grove, will soon capture the fairest belle of llound Hill.

Joe. Haul and Ilenrv Trice spent Sunday night with their best girls north of New Richmond.

Mrs. Burden, of Mulberry, spent last \yeek with her mother near this place. Rachel Crow, is working f®r Miss Hannah at Ijew Richmond.

N. W. Myers has his barn almost completed. Meeting at Bunker Hill school house Monday eve.

J. S. Smith now carries 4 or 5 pets with him—boils. Thos. Ham was married to Isannie Krous^ "Wedn esd ay.

Miss Laura Ammerman is very sick sick at this writing. Basket meeting at Clore's grove the 5th Sunday in June.

Mrs. Lizzie Hybarger is^. visiting at Peter Fisher's this week. Henry Burns has been visiting John Ammerman the past week.

Quite a crowd attended the colored meeting at Yountsville Sunday. Lightning struck Bill Clark's barn and alsd G. W. Hudson's barn Saturday night.

Prof. A. B. Hulse was circulating among old friends here the past week. Miss Edna Campbell is convalescent.

Lillie Smith, of "Wallace, visited her sister, Mrs. Clore, the past week. llev. Jackman filled the pulpit on Saturday, Sunday and Mondav at the Campbellite church.

Several persons from Crawfordsville spent Sunday at the Shades, Martin Deets, of Oklahoma, has been among his old friends here for two or three days.

Joe. and Jim Pored ice, of Russelsville, called on two of our voting ladies 'Sunday.

Miss Kill Fishero will probably enter the school of Terre Ilaute, known as St. Marys of the Woods.

Joe. Hudson has left for Sacramento, Cal. Our best wishes follow him. Chas. Myers, of near Crawfordsville, visited friends here this week.

The storm of last week blew down several stacks of heading besides damaging a great deal of valuable timber.

Mark Truax carries a very peculiar smile now, also a new set of teeth.

Several of our young people were down to hear the famous flilmore band on ist Tuesday.
