Hattie Rush visited William Stump Sunday, There will not be a half crop of wheat in this vicinity.
Dr. Zellers said he would quit burning his woods oil on Sunday. Mr. Roland Brown and family, visited Wesley Grubbs on last Sunday.
Mr. Isaac Jones was down on his farm last Saturday sowing clover seed.
Tom Charters of Ripley township has moved on the old Johnnie Lewellen farm.

A small child of Taylor (irimes drank a cup of lye on Monday and came near dying.
Charley Bowers left Monday for Missouri, where he will visit friends for some time. H. W. Darnell and daughters Anna and Lotta, were in Crawfordsville Wednesday.
Rev. Thomson held services in the Baptist church Sunday after which three persons were immersed.
Albert Allen and Charley Schleppy, candidates for sheriff and surveyor, were in town Wednesday.
The Veedersburg dramatic company gave an entertainment Tuesday night iu Armory Hall to a small crowd.
The Easter services held in the M. E. church Tuesday night were interesting and were witnessed by a large crowd.
A young man by the name ot Parsons living north of town broke his arm Monday. Dr. Hamilton was called and attended the same.
A woman of town was trying to borrow a revolver with which to shoot her husband one day this week. There is certainly "blood on the uioon."
Some kicking is being indulged in on account of some of the road supervisors getting a great many more votes iu the district than they were voters at the election.

Mrs. Elias Mills who livos a short distance east of town died on Monday of typhoid fever. The funeral was preached Tuesday, after which the remains were laid to rest in the masonic cemetry.
