Hannibal Trout and George "W. Hutton, receivers, and J. M. Waugh, engineer, appointed to appraise the Crawfordsville and Waynetown gravel road have reported. They place the value of the road, iucluding right of way, cuts, fills and all bridges at S2,9C0. Thereport was accepted by the commissioners and an election ordered to be held in Waynetown on Monday, April 7. The road is 0.55 mil long.

Within the last three months Sugar Creek township, just over in Montgomery county, has lost as many as four young men, or boys rather, as they would scarcely be able to vote at the next presidential election on account of their age. Three of them are in pastures new while the fourth is in jail for not setting his wings to fly early enough. Mosrow. March 10.—Tremendous excitement prevails here over the horrible murder of a Sister of Charity named l'ratnuky. a woman of -tu years, well known for her many charitable deeds. ller body was found cut into small pieces, packed into a sack, which was sewn up and thrown away at a place whore detection was a question of only a fewhours. The h»ad was rudely cut from the trunk and found wrapped in a cloth iw another part of the city. So near as could be judged, it would seem that the woman was strangled. From evidence which tho police will not disclose the murder was charged upon a young medical student named lielsonsoll. who was arrested in the province of Yh.dimir and immediately committed suicide. No reason is known for the horrible murder.

The route to tho tomb was lined with sight-seers, who uncovered their heads as the imperial party passed on its way to attend the ceremony. The services wero of an impressive character and were conducted by Court Chaplain Koegel. The Knights of the Black Eagle were present, headed by Count von Moltke. I'rinco Bismarck was absent. Before returning to the palace the Emperor and members of his family placed wreaths upon the coffins of William and Augusta, which were completely hidden from sight by tho quantities of frosh flowers that were heaped upon them.

Ouicago, March 10. The anniversaries of the. National societies of Baptists will meet in this city May 18 to 23 next.
