Elder Badger haB begun a meeting at the Christian church, which will continue a week or more. He will be assisted by Elder J. P. Ewing, of Crawfordsville. All are cordially Invited to attend.
B. M. Galey and A1 Oglesby left this week for the west. Mr. Galey will visit his brother in Kansas, and Mr. Oglesby will spend the winter in the new States of Montana and Washington.
Harry Crawford is trying to work the subsidy game again—those townships that voted against a tax for the aid of the Midland are to be asked to reconsider their decision. We do not believe the Colonel will spend much time with Brown township.
The largest single improvement made in Waveland of late years is the brick livery stable of Canine & Deer just about completed. They will occupy it the first of next week. It is 40x100 feet, has an underground stable 40x50 feet with room for thirty or more horses and there are ten stalls on the first floor, as well as plenty of room for vehicles.

About His Brother.
Several years ago my brother, who lives with me, had a very strange sore to break out on his leg—about half way between the body and knee—which afterwards developed into a rose cancer. It resulted from a bruise made bj the rubbing of the stirrup-leather while riding.
The cancer continued to gfbw until it was about 5 inches long and 8 wlde.^gjj^e cancer sloughed off, black rotten and foul, and it was almost impossible to procure a servant tha,t would wait upon him, the air in the room where he lay being so foul that is would 'sicken anyone who entered. Every physician of any porminence in the state wa&consulted, ami reated my brother without success. One doctor finally advised him to try Swift's Specific (SSS) he did so Hud used nothing else. He commenced to improve immediately and was cured, and since 1884 not a symptom of the disease has manifested itself. |||l

pi
Yoif have heard your friends and neighbors talking about it You may yourself be one of the many who know from personal experience just how good a thing it is. If you have ever tried it, you are one of its staunch friends because the wonderful thing about it is, that when once given a trial, Dr. King's new discovery ever after holds a place in the house. If you have never used it and should be afflicted with a cough, cold or any throat, lung or chest trouble, secure a bottle at once and give it a fair trial. It is guaranteed every time, or money refunded. Trial bottles free at Nye & Co's., drag store.

His Health Broke Down. Last summer iny appetite failed, my health became poor and I was in a very feeble condition, in fact, I was compelled to give up all business on account of my health. I tried physicians and their medicines, without benefit. At length I began taking S. S. S. and nothing else. After taking several bottles I was entirely oured and able to resume business. I increased nineteen pouads in weight in less than a month after I commenced) takiug SSS.

Southern Blood.
Also gets out of order. When I received the box of solid Extract ordered from you, my sister-in-law 46 years old, had an old fever sore on her leg six inches above the ankle, it was of 15 years stauding, but until some two years ago would come and go, but the last breaking out would not yield to no treatment, though we tried everything, and she had to take to her room, with epectation of its soon proving fatal, as it was spreading rapidly. I applied plasters of your solid extract and gave it to her internally. The effect was miraculous. The effect of your Red Clover Extract is wonderful. Her appetite of which she had none increased, the stomach and bowels performed their allotted functions, and within four weeks her leg was perfectly healed up, and her health better than at any time in 15 years, and we used but of the extract. For any and all blood diseases, and as a spriug medicine I think Loose's Extract of Red Clover the very best, and I have had practical experience with all. Yours truly.
