By reference to our advertising columns it will be seen that the abevc named colossal institution will exhibit in this city on Tuesday, July 4. We arc to have no general celebration on that day, but will make up for it by the visit of the largest Circus and Menagerie in the United States. From all we can learn, this is not only one of the largest, but also one of the best traveling exhibitions now before the people. The name is new to us c# tSo West, but for the past tea years Sheldenburger's Menagerie and Cirous has been the leading exhibition on (he other side of tho Atlantic, and for the season of '71 comes before tho American people with all Us European prestige elinging to it. Since the commencement of the American tour, on the 17th of April, their snceeis has only been equaled by the Barn am Museum, Menagerie and Circus With few exceptions their canvass has been packed to repletion at each exhibition, while in many places they have had to close the doors aad refuse admittance to hundreds of people. Such success as this Dpeaks volumns for the show, and goes to convince that real merit will tell in any branch of business.

Tbia show is composed of a large and comprehensive Menagerie and a faultless Circus. In the Menagerie will be found Aver 200 different specimens of the animal

The great feature, however, ^f the Menagerie is the Serithian Rh in octroi" or Unicorn of noly Writ. The only full grown specimen of this rare and remarkable animal ever captured alive. He weighs 8,000 pounds, and is transported in A cage as large as an ordinary city street car, while eight massiw horses are required to draw him from place Jo place. We are informed that he is as a mountain compared to a mole hill when brought into comparison with the two or three other species of Rhinoceros at present in this country. The Unicorn has obtained special notoriety from the fact that it is claimed by many Biblical scholars that he is the anima^ mentioned in the Book of Job to exemplify
