And those two lamb like meu of' prayer, mock marriage, by closing the hand of the poacher upon the key of the vineyard:—and they prayed God Almighty to bless the two who were reeonatrnoted, in all they had done, and to make them happy forever.
And they pronounced them man and wife, and said* "What God had joined together let no man put asunder."
This is just what another minister,! acting as God's agent, said to one of: the parties before!
And God blessed the poacher by taking him away from the" irrepressible conflict," and the owner of the property ean sit and gaze upon the desolation made by law, love, and licen-

His eyes went into the depths of hers, and love ripened in the glances thereof. He slipped into the vineyard of another—tasted the fruit, and pronounced it very good. And he kept tasting, till the branches would give down only when shaken by the poacher, and there was no more fruit, delicious or otherwise, for the rightful owner. "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every l.ving creature," said the divine Savior. "Go ye into Kansas and shoot th? Gospel into every liviog creature," saia Rev. Henry Ward Beecher, from the pnlpit of his church, when preaching a political sermon oa free Kansas, as he handed out a rifle to some Christian guerrilla wbo was to go forth to help John Brown steal io the name of freedom.
On the night of March 13, 1SC7, McFarland "shot the gospel" into the thigh of the poacher who was walking away with his vineyard that had borne him frait.
On the 13th of March, 1809, McFarland brought suit against the poacher for seduction, for debauching the wife of his bosom, and made oath that the poacher had trespassed on his preserves as follows':
[From the Supreme Court Records] Supreme Court, city and county of New YorkgrDaniel McFarland ngl. Albert IX Richardson—complaint.

On the 13th of November, 1SC0, after McFarland had twicc shot the one who had crept into his viueyard and at last claimed it all as his own, Rev. .1 The Illinois ConTcntion. The people of Illinois are giving some evidences that they are return ing to political sanity, aud that hereafter, in that great agricultural Western State, jthere will be roiled up, at every election, 50,000 or 00,000 majority for that party which is governed by and in the interest of the Eastern bondholders and New England manufacturers. They have a Convention now in session at Springfield to revise the Constitution. Its President Mr. Hitchcock of Chicago, was elected by the votes of all the Democratic members and three independent Republicans—one of whom was Mr. Medill, of the Chicago Tribune—against the regular Republican nominee, the Tribune, above alluded to, says that "never before has so much real intellectual ability been assembled in The State," and predicts "great good to the people from the result of their deliberations.''

Hurley's Ague Tonic.
Arwair-^ta Jlmurf.
PERFECTLY RELIABLE.
The only remedy for Chills and Fever, or Ague and Fever, that i» or can be depended upon is Hurley's Ague Tonic. There have been thousands cored by U3ing it who have tried the u?nal remedies without benefit.
WORTHY OF ATTENTION.
To Dr Thom!l3 A HnrIcy
I hereby certify that during lait year I was attacked with the ague whilst in ickisburg. Miss., and used several popular meuicines with but temporary relief. On reaching home t.he diseased returned in a worse type, if possible, when my medical attendant ordered Quinine in large doses—frequently as high as CO grains per day, and which must have cost me nearly S100 I consulted Dr. Smith, of Louisville, and found he prescribed quinine and arsenic combined, which I refused to take, preferring to let the disease take its course. 1 was almost bloodless, extremely exhausted, and pronounced with enlarged Liver and Spleen. About this time, the advertisement of Hurley's Ague Tonic, appeared in a city paper, and 1 determined to give it atrial. I did so.and have no reason to regret it. Ono bottle restored me completely, and since that time seen nearly a hundred case3 in which itacted with equally bappy results, and would certainly rocommend itas preferable to any other tonic bofore the public."

Hurley's Sar.isparilla is what it is represented, and I believe it the most wonderful medicino before the public. Nothing under the heavens could induce mo to say so without proof of the strongest and surest kind therefore, I speak willingly and positively on the subject.
My dauehtor has been afflicted with skin disscase and stiffness of the joints for several years, I employed theprincipil physicians of tho city and they could not cure hor. I gave her your Sarsaparilla not expecting it would do hor much good, out to my great astonishment she rapidly got well, and thank God continues so. Had she been taking any medicino I would not give this certificate but your Sarasparilla. the only remedy employed, leaves no doubt of its medical qualities, and that it alone cured her. (Signed,) LUKE REYNOLDS.
Any person requiring the truth and honesty of the statement, will find me at my residence, corner Ninth and Walnut streets, Louisville, Ky.
