THE two pickpockets and vagabonds, Thomas and Yeatcli, arrested some two weeks ago for robbing the drawer of Mr. James Nolan, were acquitted by a jury trial, in Judge Xuvlor's court, on last Wednesday. The evidence was not deemed sufficient for a conviction, although there was no doubt entertained, from all the circumstances connected with the robbery, that they were the parties who stole the money.
